Simone Deveaux (Tawny Cypress) Though not seeming to possess any extraordinary ability, the self-assured Simone is unmistakably bound with the other Heroes. A successful art dealer in New York City, Simone finds herself romantically involved with her most tormented artist/client, Isaac Mendez. But Isaac's drug addiction - as well as his visions of the future - eventually drive Simone away, and into the arms of Peter Petrelli... for one night only. One thing is certain: her destiny is the same as the Heroes. |

Mohinder Suresh (Zendhil Ramamurthy) Mohinder is a genetics professor at the University of Madras. His father Chandra was also a professor in India, galvanizing the academic world with his predictions of a "global event" that would change mankind. Then, Chandra was murdered in New York. Mohinder has now moved there, hoping to find out why his father was killed, as well as what his father was working on. On his father's computer, he's discovered a list - of ordinary people with extraordinary abilities... |

Niki/Jessica Sanders (Ali Larter) Niki is a former casino employee who supports herself and her son Micah by stripping in front of an internet webcam. With her husband D.L. on the lam, and desperate to keep Micah in a private school, Niki got herself into debt with a mobster named Linderman. As Linderman's goons began to close in on Niki, she soon realized the visions she's seen of herself in the mirror are in fact her alter ego, Jessica - a protector far more superhuman (and sinister) than herself. |

Micah Sanders (Noah Gray-Cabey) Micah is a child prodigy, the son of Niki Sanders and D.L. Hawkins. He has personally witnessed the extraordinary abilities of each of his parents, under extremely harrowing circumstances. Micah himself appears to possess his own remarkable ability of super-technology. The ten-year-old has rebuilt the entire motherboard of his computer. He has made a destroyed pay phone work again - just by touching it. But does he have the power to bring his estranged parents back together? |

Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere) Claire is a 17 year old high school cheerleader from Odessa, Texas. Her typical teenage life has taken a left turn: She's virtually indestructible. She's shoved a steel rod into her neck. She's taken an 80-foot swan dive into the dirt. She's regenerated from her own autopsy and even survived the fateful premonition: "Save the cheerleader, save the world." And she hasn't got a scratch on her. With homework and SAT's, what in the world is she supposed to do with her ability? |

Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar) Peter's over-achieving older brother, Nathan is the golden boy of the family. Nathan is running for the U.S. Congress. He fears his eccentric younger brouther's behavior might bring him down - and diretly confides to peter that the dreamer's fantasies of flying may well be the delusions of a madman. Then Nathan ultimately saves Peter - by flying himself! It is a secret, awesome ability the older brother is very reluctant to divulge, much less to use. |

Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) A cubicle jockey in Tokyo, Hiro is a worker bee in a sea of worker bees, but there's the hint of the nonconformist in him. When avoiding work, he stares at the clock, willing its hands to move back. His focused mind and his enthusiastic nature appear delusional, until the day he discovers he actually has the ability to bend time and space. that's why he eventually finds himself transported to New York, with the fate of the city - and the world - quite possibly in his charge. |

Isaac Mendez (Santiago Cabrera) Wiry and handsome, Isaac is a gifted painter, a comic book artist and a strung-out heroin junkie, unable to get through the day without a fix. Specializing in violent images of tragedy, he assumed it was simply his style. Until the day he picked up the paper and saw the image of a bus crash - the exact image he'd painted three weeks before. More recently, his artistic genius has turned to the future vision of a certian high school cheerleader. |

Mr.Bennet (Jack Coleman) Also known as "H.R.G." (Horn-Rimmed Glasses), Mr. Bennet is the father of his adopted daughter, Claire. Appearing an ordinary businessman, H.R.G is anything but. Not only does he know of Claire's extraordinary ability, he secretly commands his own network of operatives - including the mysterious Haitian who can delete a person's memory - with an agenda known only to himself. His calm demeanor masks an intense obsession with all the Heroes. |

Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg) A low-ranking officer of the LAPD, Matt wants to be where the action is. He's desperate to move up, but has flunked the detective test three times due to his dyslexia. Just when things couldn't get worse, he begins to detect voices in his head. The extraordinary ability to hear other people's thoughts has a profound inpact on his police work as well as his personal life. |

D.L.Hawkins (Leonard Roberts) A fugitive on the run for a crime he claims he did not commit, D.L. escaped prison in quite an extraordinary way: utilizing his heroic ability to move through solid objects. the husband of Niki and the father of Micah, D.L. very much loves them - but is unable to deal with Niki or her violent alter personality, Jessica. Still, he is obsessed with clearing his own name as well as providing a good life for his son - and it will likely require his super-ability to accomplish both. |

ANGELA PETRELLI (Cristine Rose) Angela is Peter and Nathan Petrelli's mother. While she may appear desperate for attention (even stooping to shoplifting to get it), there's apparently more to her than has thus far been revealed. It would appear that she's a bit over-protective of Peter and will often bend the truth to protect him. After his roof jumping incident she admits that his father died by committing suicide not of a heart attack. |

SANDRA BENNET (Ashley Crow) Claire's adoptive mother and wife of HRG. She always appears a bit out of sorts and seems to pay more attention to Mr.Muggles, the family dog, than any other member of the household. Her quirkiness is most likely attributed to the numerous mind wipes that her husband had done to her by The Haitian. |

LYLE BENNET (Randall Bentley) Lyle is Claire's younger and nosey adoptive brother. When he stumbles on to Zach's tapes of Claire killing herself he threatens to put the footage on the internet. Zach and Claire make him swear to secrecy. We later learn that HRG has his son Lyle's memory of the incident erased by The Haitian. |

All of his suicide attempts were covered up by his wife Angela Petrelli as heart attacks. Although many suspect he may have been killed by associates of Linderman. |

HEIDI PETRELLI (Rena Sofer) Nathan Petrelli's wife and mother of Simon and Monty Patrelli. Heidi was paralyzed in a car when a thug attempted to run Nathan off the road. Nathan had a first uncontrollable flight as Heidi was left in the car driverless and it careened into an exit ramp barracade. |
